Bugala is a centre (of human and spiritual formation) for men,(students and professionals). It is an undertaking of Kyoga Foundation, a local NGO established in 1998 that promotes character development through training and education. The goal is to form competent students and professionals. Bugala is located in Nakasero, a quiet suburb of Kampala, about 15 minutes walk from Makerere University and less than 5 minutes drive from the city centre. The activities of formation organized in the centre are aimed at cultivating virtue.

The centre helps students discover how best they can benefit from their stay in school and University.  The spiritual activities in Bugala are entrusted to Opus Dei a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church. The message of Opus Dei is that all are called to holiness through their work done for God and at the service of society.
